The other day I had a businessman come into my office and we were chatting about websites and of course I started in to my normal spill about how high ranked my sites are, honestly I do not no why I waste my time informing local people about site rankings, saturation levels, page rank etc.

If you have a website you need to have a basic understanding of the above if you ever want visitors to your site. Additionally with that basic understanding you need to have a basic knowledge on how to apply the above information to properly optimize your site.

To be quite honest with everyone most web designers, not all as there are some that do cross the lines may design a great site but if that site is not properly optimized the money spent is just that, spent!   That money you just spent was just flush down the toilet because your site will probably never be found online.

Of course you can hire someone to optimize your site or even to give you a consult on what needs to be changed to achieve higher ranking within the search engine, understand this though! What ever you spend on site development you should expect to spend the same to get it seen - if you think you can get information on making your site profitable for $50.00 forget it.

Well the information is out there on the net, you just have to find it. Honestly though most of the information out is not the whole truth as no professional is going to give this information for FREE.

To be quite honest it is a complicated and time consuming process and if you do not have the time you probably will never achieve the success that you want online, I personally work 7 days aweek on my sites usually 4 - 6 hours a day to maintain my high rankings. No I do not do work for other people because I simply do not have the time.
