Growing to provide even better service!

GUDesigns.com has had a nice year for the first year, we have done several jobs some much larger than others but one thing is in common all of our customers have been happy. Though this site physically has only been up since April of this year I have been doing work for over 8 years. Where has the time gone? You always hear about how time flies the older you get but until you actually are a little older you really never realize the truth in that fact.

Personally it seems like yesterday when I first started in business but heck it has been over 27 years ago when I bought my first business and it has been 23 year now that I have been at my main business which is in the service industry. In 1999 with a lot of spare time in the evenings I started my first web business, PanTravels.com mainly as a referral business to my business site that I started the next year. Today I still have this business though more effort has been put toward my advertising site over the years, this being BuckeyeAds.com which is a site that offer free business advertising.

Time flies when you are having fun!

A couple years ago I finally got the name that I have been wanting for my design website but it took another year to add the site to the name, GUDesigns.com was developed and today we have several designers, developers, programmers with our small company and myself as the SEO and president of this small company. This coming year my goal is to finish developing the main arm of my family of sites which would be GGOLDEN.com, but I still have to decide on the concept of this design, like everything else this is a process and now my focus is with some of our large projects that are presently in the works.

What I really enjoy about the internet the fact that the small guy can compete with much larger companies, many time beating them in the rankings as they have the ability to change content along with keywords as needed where large companies struggle with the chain of command. It is great as I have always been a very competitive person throughout my life, now the internet just offers me another way to on a business level with much larger companies.

Today though my website include almost 20 plus domain names and growing, I find as I get different ideas that I need to put those ideas to a domain. One thing that I am finding though is that real good domain names are getting to harder to find.

Moving into 2008

My companies main focus forward will be: design, development, advertising, marketing, search engine optimization. The main site will be GGOLDEN.com which is the Golden Advertising Group which continues to grow not only in size but in our daily visitors for which I feel offers our design company a unique opportunity to bring our new developments online with quick exposure not only to the search engines but to the people doing the searches.
