Winter is here early!

Now only early December and we are expecting bitter cold weather, hope this is not a sign of how bad the winter will be. Normally in the winter I do the majority of my web work a with my other business things really slow down so I have nothing but time just to relax and enjoy my online work.

This year I started off much different though I have really made a effort on building my design business by placing many types of advertising online, mainly on high ranked sites plus in the local phone book. Believe it or not I am the only web design company that advertises in the local phone book, can you believe that? They gave me a great deal on my advertising in hopes of trying to build some business, do not know if that makes me stupid or not so I guess we will see if it produces any business.

Continue reading "Winter is here early!"

Online Business ever changing!

It has been seven years now that I have been online, during those seven years the number of site has grown from just over 1 billion to over 8 billion sites as more and more people move to the internet. Even now a large amount of people still do not understand the internet, many only use the business that advertise and keep their name in the media, many still do not understand how searches can give them new and better options online.

Continue reading "Online Business ever changing!"

Advertising / Marketing

The past month has been busy with updating web pages and starting to market our new service, PageAds. We feel that our new idea for PageAd advertising will give the new comers to the internet a way to obtain quick exposure as with this service links will be provided from pages that are already indexed by the major search engines.

We will be using one of our existing domains to build our new idea, RunAad.com will provide viewers with an easy name to remember when finding there pageads.

Here it is July 14th and today my brain is fried, it has been a long week and to be quite honest I cannot even think what happened the last month. To be quite honest I am just so tired from everything and today is Saturday and I should be just taking at easy just relaxing and I pulled out the computer and started to put down somethings on this page and wham, complete blank. I guess I will start this up another day when I can actually put down what I am thinking so I will move on for now.

This is a topic that really is not discussed in much length but it is a subject everyone wants to know or thinks they know, so here is my view of the topic with over 7 years of work on the net at some points in excess of 100 hours per week, almost 365 days a year. Additionally I have over 26 years in a brick and mortar business for which I now own, at times over the last 26 years I have owned upwards of 3 properties around the state of <state><place>Ohio</place></state> though I have now settled to one and pursue my internet business pretty much on a full time basis.

Continue reading "Perceived Value vs. Actual Value of your site!"

I cannot believe that I have been online since 2000, seven years this May and counting. Of course this site has only been up since 2003, we are happy to say that we are still growing and hope to hit a million visitors a month this year.

Web business is definately a tough nut to crack with exponential growth simply being in the right place at the right time, this year we saw YouTube.com a virtual new comer take the net by storm where the rest of us strive to even get noticed and only dream of getting noticed like that. What all of us need to understand is that that type of exposure is extremely rare at least that is what we have to tell ourselves, ha! ha!

I get e-mails everday now stating that I can recieve a $500,000 plus mortgage for only 1900. a month, come on I hope people do not believe the value of this! First off this is a interest only note, this means just what it says that you are not paying any principal on this loan if you take it out.
